Drug name: Solcoseryl (free protein extract of veal calves blood)

Therapeutic effects: Solcoseryl is an potent activator of cellular metabolism, chemically and biologically standardized hemodialysate of veal calves' blood. Hemodialysate contains a broad spectrum of natural low molecular compounds – glycopeptides, nucleosides, intermediate products of lipid and carbohydrate metabolism. Solcoseryl improves the consumption of oxygen by tissue, normalizes the processes of metabolism, glucose transport, stimulates ATP synthesis, accelerates tissue regeneration.

Indications:

Solcoseryl is indicated for the treatment of the following conditions:

Disorders of peripheral arterial and venous blood circulation:

Occlusive diseases of peripheral arteries (Fontaine stage III-IV)
Chronic venous insufficiency accompanied by trophic damages

Disorders of cerebral metabolism and blood circulation:

Solcoseryl is contraindicated for use in the following conditions:

Children and adolescents under 18 years of age
Pregnancy
Breastfeeding
Hypersensitivity to dialysates of calves' blood.
Hypersensitivity to the derivatives of para-Hydroxybenzoic acid (E216 and E218) and benzoic acid (E210).

Solcoseryl should be used with caution in patients with low potassium blood levels, renal failure, disorders of cardiac rhythm, concomitant application with potassium containing products, anuria, oliguria, pulmonary edema, severe heart failure.

Additional information:

Solcoseryl should be stored out of reach of children, in protected from light place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Shelf-life is 5 years.
