Drug name: Dermovate (Clobetasol)
Therapeutic effects:
The active substance of Dermovate - clobetasol propionate, is a glucocorticosteroid that is used for local application in dermatology. Clobetasol has a nonspecific anti-inflammatory and antiallergic action due to vasoconstriction and reduced formation of collagen in the skin. Clobetasol also has the ability to eliminate swelling, remove hyperemia and itching.
Indications:
- psoriasis (except plaque psoriasis)
- lichen planus
- discoid lupus erythematosus
eczema resistant (refractory forms)
